I seem to be going nowhere,
Though I walked all along.
The destination eludes me,
Just to paths I belong.

It ’s not that I am directionless
But I chose the wrong ways.
The sun sets in the horizon.
My hope now rather sways.

No longer I perceive my path.
My knees are bent, I am tired.
Lord, I now need Your helping hand;
In despair I am mired.

Even with a second chance,
I seem to wander aimless, dark,
Without a bright light to follow,
My life will leave no mark.

Please show me light and lead my path,
So I dont go astray.
In darkness that is increasing,
You are the only ray.
